Initiative for Students Initiative for Students (INS) is an educational, voluntary, and non-political organization dedicated to supporting meritorious but disadvantaged students in achieving their dreams through financial assistance and comprehensive support.
Vision
INS envisions a Bangladesh where no student’s academic journey is interrupted due to financial hardship or lack of guidance — where merit, rather than financial means, determines a student’s future.
Objectives
To achieve this vision, INS works with the following objectives:
- Provide 'Qarze Hasana' (interest-free loans) to students facing financial hardship.
- Provide scholarships and study grants to meritorious but disadvantaged students.
- Conduct educational campaigns and mentorship programs at various institutions.
- Provide structured guidance to students preparing for university and medical admission.
- Publish and distribute affordable, high-quality academic books.
- Develop offline and online coaching and academic guidance programs.
- Inspire students to build ethical and meaningful academic lives and undertake initiatives to enhance their skills.
- Build collaborative relationships with institutions and individuals committed to student welfare.
These objectives are implemented through INS’s five key initiatives — Qarze Hasana, Scholarships & Study Grants, Campaign & Mentorship, INS Publications, and INS Coaching & Academic Guidance.
